Why an in-house AI
A consumer tool knows nothing of our work programmes, of SYCEBNL or of a donor’s terms of reference. And handing it your accounting documents would raise a confidentiality problem. So we chose to build our own.

Our AI is developed and administered by CFEC-Afrique. Your documents are not entered into consumer AI assistants.
Your data is used only for your engagement
It is not resold, shared, or used to train models accessible to third parties.
Access restricted to the engagement team
Only the staff assigned to your file have access to your data. Access is personal to each user.
Professional secrecy
Our professionals are bound by it. Confidentiality is restated in every engagement letter.
A professional validates every result
The AI proposes; the auditor checks, concludes and signs. No conclusion is issued without human review.
Controlled retention
Data is kept for the period set by the engagement and by our professional obligations, then archived or deleted.
Personal data is processed in compliance with Burkinabè law, in particular Law No. 001-2021/AN on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.
What it does on an engagement
- Read, classify and index supporting documents.
- Test every entry rather than a sample.
- Reconcile accounting, banking and operational data.
- Flag anomalies and unusual transactions.
- Prepare draft working papers and summaries.
- Check the consistency of financial statements with the applicable framework.
- Suggest a first ranking of applications against the criteria of the role, reviewed by a consultant.
What it does not do
- Form an audit opinion.
- Decide in place of the professional.
- Assess a candidate or a person on its own.
- Use your data for another client or another purpose.
